レーヨンプリント-RAYON / COTTON -

日本有数の織物産地、浜松で生産したハワイアンシャツの定番生地。吸湿性に優れ、風通しがよく、風をはらむことでゆれる夏にぴったりの素材です。レーヨン生地はインクジェットプリントでの色再現性が低く、美しく仕上げるには技術を要しますが、緯糸にコットンを使用し発色性を高め、京都の老舗プリント工場で何度も試作を重ねることで、ボロと裂き織りのリアルな質感を再現しました。

A traditional fabric used for Hawaiian shirts made in Hamamatsu, one of the leading areas of cotton fabric production in Japan. Rayon has excellent moisture absorption, good air circulation, and is perfect for summer. It is hard to express original colors by inkjet printing on rayon, but replacing the weft to cotton enhance it. It also added strength to the fabric. After repeated prototyping at a long-established printing factory in Kyoto, we were able to express the realistic texture of BORO and SAKIORI.
